Vision

The Electrical Engineering Department is the largest and most deeply rooted department at the Faculty of Engineering Technology.

The Department has a distinguished academic staff and strong links with the local community and industry.

It offers two study programs, the BSc degree program and the intermediate diploma degree program.

The BSc degree program has a total of ( 160 ) credit hours distributed over  5 academic years. The specializations in this program are Electrical Power Engineering and Communication  Technology Engineering.

The Diploma degree program has a total of ( 75 ) credit hours distributed over two academic years in the specializations of electrical power systems and industrial electronics.

The Department has well-equipped laboratories to support academic courses. Internet access is able available to introduce staff and students to the latest developments in computer engineering and science. On the other hand, the Department contributes to the development of Jordanian local community and industry. Solving industrial problems and offering training courses for the staff working in industry are examples of the activities which the Department gives priority and concern
