The Department of Chemical Engineering was established to tackle the various engineering problems and the strong need to support the rapid growth of the chemical industry in Jordan.  The department provides both Diploma (two years) and B.Sc (five years) programs. Our vision is to become an internationally reputable chemical engineering department with a strong focus on chemical engineering R&D and scholarship activities in related sciences. The Department is committed to maintain high quality education and provide it students with best possible facility to enrich their minds with practical experience.   The Department is expanding through attracting new academic staff with different research areas which will enhance both teaching and research capabilities. This will promote our vision to engage in the higher education program. Also, the Department is seeking the support of international agencies to obtain funding to upgrade its laboratories.
