The Department of Civil Engineering
at the BAU (in FET) provides two
degrees in Civil Engineering:
Bachelor in Highway and Bridge Engineering.
Associate degree in the following specialties:
1.
Civil Engineering.
2.
Architecture.
3.
Interior Design.
The aforementioned programs are
tuned to comply with the market
needs. They are client based and
intended to provide competent
graduates that would serve
professionally the local and the
regional markets. The B.Sc. program
is tailored to cover unique topics,
such as bridge structural design,
and other courses that are not
available in the curricula of the
other universities in Jordan. The
aim is to provide the market with
graduates who master the know how in
the fields that are not covered by
the conventional B.Sc. programs in
Jordan and in the Middle East.
The numbers of students enrolled in both the B.Sc. and the
associate programs during the
academic year 2008/ 2009 are as
tabulated.
