The division of mechatronics was established at the beginning of the scholastic year 2003-2004. Since 1998 up to 2003 this specialization was titled “electromechanical systems”. The division includes (12) Ph. D. holders, (2) master degree holders and (6) engineers.  

A community college two year program existing since 1982 up to date with 4 specializations.

In 2003, the electromechanical systems curriculum was developed in order to cope with the objectives of the new mechatronics specialization.

Since 2003-2004 a master degree program was established and it is still going on.
